BONNELL 805 RX

SIRRIS RACE-GRADE SUSPENSION, PRODUCTION SPEC

The Sirris setup on the 805 RX was developed specifically for the bike—not adapted from an existing tune. It’s the result of two years of dedicated development and testing with Bonnell across Trail, MX, and Hard Enduro, with one goal: deliver an exceptionally broad range of performance and capability right out of the box.

The system is also designed to be easy to fine-tune and service, giving riders the adjustability and rebuildability they expect from a premium suspension product.

"You no longer have to upgrade the power on these bikes. And you definitely don't have to upgrade the suspension on these bikes. This is the best of the best that you can get."
— MATT WAUTERS · BONNELL FOUNDER & CEO

The Sirris team brings decades of experience building some of the world's best race suspension.

That experience is built directly into the RX.

This isn't suspension designed around hitting a price point and leaving room for an upgrade later.

It's the upgrade.

In conventional motorcycle terms, think A-Kit suspension, the kind of top-level equipment racers traditionally spend serious money upgrading to after buying a bike.

On the 805 RX, that level of suspension comes standard.

Premium coatings.
Tight tolerances.
Extensive tunability.

High-end internal components. It's a suspension package designed to match the performance of the rest of the motorcycle right out of the box.

NEW CLAMPS & RISERS

Beyond the custom tune, the 805 RX features all-new clamps and risers designed specifically for the bike. They offer adjustable handlebar positioning while optimizing the stiffness of the entire clamp assembly for a more controlled, precise feel.

805 SPECIFIC INTERNALS

Sirris internals include multiple component refinements and design changes developed specifically around the demands of the 805 RX.

DESIGNATED SIRRIS SETUP

In short, the 805 RX gets more than a custom suspension tune—it gets a purpose-built Sirris setup engineered around the bike, its intended riding environments, and the demands of its riders.

What was it specifically tuned for?

The Sirris setup was tuned specifically for aggressive trail riding, delivering confident control and performance in demanding terrain.

It also features a wide range of clicker adjustment, allowing riders to easily increase damping and support when transitioning to higher-speed, track-style riding.

Technologies, components, or design details:

Sirris doesn't build average suspension, they engineer the performance standard for the e-moto industry.

This is true high-performance suspension, designed to outperform alternatives in every measurable way:

  • Lower hysteresis for more responsive tracking and better small-bump sensitivity
  • Higher durability to withstand the torque, weight, and aggressive riding styles unique to modern e-motos
  • Greater force capacity to handle bigger hits, harder braking, and higher speeds without fading
  • Advanced high-flow damping circuits allows for greater force capacity without creating harshness
  • Optimized chassis stiffness for precise steering feedback and stability

TUNING DETAILS / RIDER WEIGHT RANGE

The internal tuning is accomplished by mixing the perfect match of spring weight, compression settings, rebound settings, preload settings and oil weight. All are internally adjustable and serviceable by a trained technician or service center.

Spring rate changes are easy enough for most home mechanics to complete the job.

 • Listed weight ranges are body weight without riding gear (15 pounds of riding gear is calculated into the weight ranges)

*OIL NOTE: Sirris uses Shell Tellus S2 VX15 (5wt) in the fork cartridge and Shell Tellus S2 VX68 (20wt) as the bath oil. These are cross compatible with other high quality 5wt and 20wt suspension fluids. Sirris uses a semi-synthetic 2.5wt oil in the shock that is also compatible with other high quality 2.5wt aftermarket suspension fluids. You can use 5wt/20wt oils of your preference, Lubefinder.com can be used to source the fork oils. KYB K2C can be used in the shock and has wide availability.

TUNE YOUR 805

Are you lighter or heavier than the average person?

The 805 RX comes standard with 4.8/4.4 fork springs and a 105 N/mm shock spring. These rates are specified for an average rider weight of approximately 170 lb and may be adjusted based on rider weight, riding style, and setup preferences.
