Sirris offers two weight ranges when selecting your SX Tune F43 fork. (Listed weight ranges are rider weight without riding gear on. 15 pounds of riding gear is calculated into the weight ranges)

SX AND MX FORKS EXPLAINED

Do the SX forks have more travel than MX forks, and why?

Yes, SX forks have 260 mm of travel unlike the other forks with 246 mm of travel. More travel is needed for larger impacts and faster speeds.

Are the triple clamps different?

Yes, the SX forks have billet 6061 aluminum clamps instead of forged. They are about 50% stiffer than forged clamps found on Trail and MX forks.

Is there an upcharge for the different clamp color options?

No. Price is the same for all four billet clamp colors. Choose from blue, red, gold, or black!

What else makes the SX forks different from MX forks?

Overall stiffer steup. SX forks have different fork position in top clamp, heavier damping, stiffer bottom out circuit, greater oil volume and heavier spring rates.

I'm a pretty fast rider, is this too stiff for me?

Most likely. SX forks and shocks were designed in collaboration with Josh Hill to be the stiffest setup to handle the biggest hits. We recommend SX tune for pro-level riders only.

Can I buy just the new billet clamps in the multiple color options for my existing Trail Tune or MX Tune forks?

Yes. The blue, red, gold, and black billet clamps will be available soon for purchase for our other forks.

Can I get the new billet clamps in the multiple color options for new Trail Tune or MX Tune forks?

Yes. The blue, red, gold, and black billet clamps will be available soon for purchase as an upcharge item for our other forks.
