Sirris R38 SHOCK FOR ARCTIC LEOPARD XE PRO S / ENDURO / R
R38 | 2SC | Arctic Leopard XE Pro S/Enduro/R
Big moto performance. Bombproof durability.
This R38 fits all three Arctic Leopard models: XE Pro S, Enduro, and R.
The new Sirris R38 shock brings real big-bike suspension technology to compact e-motos, using proven internal architecture shared with the larger R46 platform and an oversized chassis built for serious abuse. While other shocks in this class fade, leak, and fail, this one is engineered to keep charging.
To accommodate the massive shock for smaller bikes, Sirris teamed up with TMB to develop an R38 specific linkage (sold separately).
Note: the stock Arctic Leopard linkage WILL NOT WORK with the R38 shock.
Sirris offers two weight ranges to choose from when selecting your R38 shock for Arctic Leopard XE Pro S, Enduro, and R models. (Listed weight ranges are rider weight without riding gear on. 15 pounds of riding gear is calculated into the weight ranges)

R38 shares the same high-flow base valve cavity architecture as the larger R46. Massive oil flow delivers true moto-level damping feel, control, and consistency. Pro-level CMX (Compact Motocross Tune) damping with fully tunable compression and rebound circuits with high-flow internals that stay cool and consistent.
The result is exceptional pressure balance, faster frequency response, and a level of responsiveness normally reserved for full-size motocross suspension.
Tuned specifically for each bike model and designed to pair perfectly with Sirris F43 CMX forks, it delivers unmatched balance, traction, and confidence at speed.
Reservoir
Specifically designed around the large 16mm shaft and high oil displacement demands. The massive R46-spec internal floating piston system manages shaft displacement with precision, maintaining consistent damping feel under repeated hard hits and high heat loads.
Shaft
Same shaft as R46. Massive 16mm induction heat-treated hollow shaft with hard chrome finish — delivers extreme structural strength and huge oil flow through the main piston for true moto-level damping performance
Ø16 mm OD chrome-plated, induction hardened steel, hollow, Ø 5.5 mm ID
Shock body
A new smaller diameter body, spring, retainers, and hardware package reduce overall size while preserving the oversized internal flow characteristics that define the shock’s ride quality.
Seamless 6061 aluminum, type 3 hard anodized coating, ACME thread
Piston
The 38mm high-flow main piston uses true powersports architecture. Slightly smaller than the R46 piston but built with the same philosophy, it delivers massive tuning range and consistent damping performance far beyond anything in this category.
CNC 6061 billet aluminum, type 3 hard anodized coating

Hard band
Spring retainer
Seamless 6061 aluminum, type 3 hard anodized coating, ACME thread, with locking feature, manual adjust
Body Cap
New upper body cap engineered for tighter chassis fitment without sacrificing internal oil flow performance.
Ultra-durable chrome plated, teflon-lined spherical bearings.
Lower Eyelet
New lower eyelet maintains maximum rebound oil flow to the shaft and metering rod while fitting smaller bike platforms.
Ultra-durable chrome plated, teflon-lined spherical bearings.

REQUIRED LINKAGE KIT
The TMB Sirris R38 Linkage is a purpose-built upgrade designed specifically to fit the Sirris R38 rear shock on Arctic Leopard XE Pro models.
(The stock Arctic Leopard lower linkage is not compatible with the R38 shock.)
The new Sirris R38 shock brings real big-bike suspension technology to compact e-motos, using proven internal architecture shared with the larger R46 platform and an oversized chassis built for serious abuse.
A completely new 2SC compression adjust system and massive oil flow deliver true moto-level damping feel, control, and consistency — worlds apart from the mountain bike-based shocks found on most compact e-motos. Tuned specifically for each bike model and designed to pair perfectly with Sirris F43 CMX forks, it delivers unmatched balance, traction, and confidence at speed.
More durability, control, and performance. Nothing else is built like it.
R38 EXPLAINED
HOW WE DID IT
We didn’t start with a mountain bike shock and try to make it survive e-moto abuse.
We started with our proven R46 moto platform and engineered it into a more compact package without sacrificing the strength, oil flow, or performance that make a true moto shock work.
The result is a compact shock with real moto DNA throughout.
2SC
Hard-Hit Capability Meets Unmatched Ride Feel
Built to handle the biggest impacts with greater control and stability while preserving the smooth, connected ride feel Sirris is known for.
LOW-SPEED COMPRESSION
The low-speed adjuster balances suspension plushness with control of slower vertical suspension movements. These movements are created by rider inputs and terrain features such as braking, cornering, and gradual compressions.
HIGH-SPEED COMPRESSION
The high-speed adjuster balances suspension plushness with control of fast vertical suspension movements caused by high-impact events such as jump landings, whoops, square-edge bumps, and other sharp impacts.

The Sirris 2SC takes everything riders love about the Sirris LSC platform—its exceptional responsiveness, traction, pressure balance, and terrain-following feel—and adds a truly effective independent high-speed compression system engineered for real performance gains.

The 2SC delivers meaningful support when the terrain demands it. Riders feel increased confidence charging into hard hits and rough sections, with greater straight-line stability and control, while preserving the supple traction and comfort that define the Sirris ride quality.

Built around the same high-flow piston architecture as the LSC, the 2SC maintains the fast frequency response and sensitivity Sirris is known for, while its carefully engineered high-speed circuit avoids the common compromises and side effects found in traditional designs. The result is a wide tuning range that adds performance without taking anything away.
Isolation Explained
2SC independent adjuster architecture is engineered to maximize sealing integrity, prevent oil bypass, and eliminate piston back-off under high loads.
By isolating adjuster movement from the piston assembly and maintaining high o-ring preload without excessive adjuster torque, the system delivers long-term durability, damping consistency, and robust performance beyond conventional high-speed compression designs.
- Non-translating high-speed and low-speed adjusters prevent piston assembly rotation for enhanced long-term durability and reliability.
- Avoids the harshness and ineffective tuning commonly associated with traditional high-speed adjusters.
- Carefully engineered high-speed circuit minimizes the typical side effects found in conventional designs.
FAQ'S
Do I really need the TMB linkage for this shock to work on my Arctic Leopard?
Yes. The stock linkage will not work because the shock is longer. The TMB linkage was designed specifically for this new shock for Arctic Leopard XE Pro S, Enduro, and R models.
Does this R38 shock have more travel than the stock shock?
The wheel travel and ride height of the motorcycle are the same as stock. However, due to the robust moto style parts, the travel of the shock is less than stock. The TMB link changes the motion ratio to compensate for the shorter shock travel.
Does this shock and linkage fit on the Arctic Leopard ok, and do I need to do any frame modifications?
No frame modifications are needed, this is a bolt-on direct fit solution. You must use the TMB linkage with the R38, the stock Arctic Leopard linkage will not work with the R38.
Does this new shock and linkage affect bike geometry and stance?
No, the stock geometry is maintained with the Sirris CMX 220 fork and R38 shock.
Can I buy the TMB linkage directly from TMB or dealers?
Yes. Feel free to contact TMB or any dealers that carry TMB.
Does the TMB linkage ship with the R38 shock?
You must add the TMB linkage to cart with your R38 shock order, they must be purchased at the same time to ship together. But yes, the linkage fits inside the shock box and will ship as a single unit.
