The World's First True Moto Rear Shock for Compact E-Motos

Introducing the Sirris R38, a purpose-built rear shock engineered from the ground up using real motocross suspension architecture.

Featuring Sirris' all-new 2SC (Two-Stage Compression) system with independent high- and low-speed compression adjustment, the R38 delivers race-winning performance with unmatched durability. It sets a new benchmark for compact electric motorcycle suspension.

Built from the proven DNA of the Sirris championship-proven R46 platform, the R38 brings full-size moto technology to compact e-motos for the first time.

While the first application is for the E-Ride Pro SR and E-Ride Pro 3.0, this is only the beginning. Additional fitments for Arctic Leopard and Surron LBX are already in development.

Approved by the Fastest

The shock was put in the hands of Mayhem Racing, led by Tim Ritson, along with riders Austin Rocha, Trevor Stewart, and Jayme Brap. The response was immediate.

From the first rides, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Riders consistently described the R38 as more planted, more controlled, and dramatically more confidence-inspiring than anything they had experienced on a compact e-moto. The increased traction, composure through rough terrain, and ability to absorb repeated impacts left even seasoned riders genuinely impressed.

When some of the fastest riders on E-Ride Pros are blown away by your suspension, you know you're building something special.

Born From Our Championship R46 Platform

Most compact e-moto shocks begin life as mountain bike suspension and are pushed far beyond what they were originally designed to handle.

The R38 took the opposite approach.

Instead of adapting bicycle technology, Sirris engineered the R38 directly from the proven architecture of the R46, our flagship full-size moto shock. The result is a compact package that retains the strength, oil capacity, and damping characteristics of a true motocross shock without compromise.

From its oversized 16mm induction heat-treated hollow shaft and hard chrome finish to its high-flow piston design and moto-spec internal floating piston reservoir, every major component shares the same engineering philosophy that defines our full-size racing suspension.

The result is exceptional damping consistency, improved traction, superior heat management, and durability that simply doesn't exist anywhere else in this category.

Built for Abuse

Compact e-motos are ridden harder than ever. Traditional shocks weren't designed for that reality.

The R38 was.

Its oversized oil volume and high-flow damping system maintain consistent performance through repeated hard impacts, aggressive race pace, and extended riding sessions where conventional shocks begin to fade. Every seal, bearing, and internal component was selected with long-term durability as the priority, allowing riders to push harder with confidence that the suspension will keep performing.

This is suspension built to survive real moto riding—not just occasional trail use.

A New Standard in Damping Performance

At the heart of the R38 is Sirris' all-new 2SC Two-Stage Compression system.

Independent high- and low-speed compression adjustment gives riders the ability to precisely tune the suspension for everything from technical terrain to high-speed race tracks while maintaining exceptional comfort and control. Combined with the shock's massive oil flow, the R38 delivers a planted feel, increased traction, improved bottoming resistance, and remarkable consistency throughout every ride.

The difference isn't subtle.

It feels like a motocross bike because it's engineered like one.

Prickly X Sirris: Engineered as a Complete Suspension System

For the initial E-Ride Pro SR and 3.0 applications, Sirris partnered with Prickly to develop a dedicated linkage system that raises rear ride height by 25mm and optimizes chassis geometry around the R38.

Note: the stock E-Ride Pro linkage WILL NOT WORK with the new R38 shock.

Each shock is individually valved for its application and designed to work seamlessly with the Sirris F43 CMX 220mm fork package, creating a balanced chassis with improved cornering precision, increased stability, and confidence at speed.

CMX fork drop clamp can be added to raise the front by an equivalent 25mm.

As additional applications are released, every version of the R38 will receive the same model-specific development rather than relying on one-size-fits-all tuning.

The Beginning of a New Era

Designed with genuine motocross engineering and built specifically for the demands of compact e-motos, it establishes a new benchmark for performance, durability, and rider confidence.

The E-Ride Pro SR and E-Ride Pro 3.0 are the first to experience what the R38 can do. Many more are coming.
