BIG MOTO PERFORMANCE.
BUILT FOR THE SURRON LBX.

Introducing the Sirris R38 2SC Rear Shock + Prickly Linkage System

The Surron Light Bee X has earned its place as one of the most capable compact e-motos on the market. Now, Sirris is bringing a new level of suspension performance to the LBX with the R38 2SC rear shock, paired with a purpose-built Prickly triangle and linkage kit.

Engineered around proven full-size motocross suspension architecture, the R38 delivers the damping control, durability, and adjustability needed to push the LBX harder. Combined with the Prickly linkage system and Sirris F43 CMX 220 mm travel fork, this setup brings front-to-rear balance and serious moto performance to the compact e-moto platform.

Big hits. Better control. No compromises.

R38 2SC: REAL MOTO SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY

The R38 wasn't built by adapting a mountain bike shock to survive e-moto abuse. Sirris started with the proven R46 platform and engineered its core technology into a compact package designed specifically for smaller electric motorcycles.

At the heart of the R38 is a high-flow damping system built to deliver consistent performance under repeated impacts, demanding terrain, and high heat loads. Its oversized 16 mm shaft, 38 mm high-flow main piston, and robust internal architecture provide the strength, oil flow, and damping control required for aggressive riding.

The result is a rear shock designed to maintain a predictable, connected ride feel when the pace picks up and the terrain gets rough.

2SC: HARD-HIT CAPABILITY MEETS UNMATCHED RIDE FEEL

The R38 introduces Sirris 2SC (Two Stage Compression), featuring independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment. This gives riders greater control over how the suspension responds to different terrain and riding inputs.

Low-Speed Compression: Fine-tune suspension plushness and support during braking, cornering, and gradual compressions. The tool-free adjuster makes it easy to dial in the ride without reaching for tools.

High-Speed Compression: Adjust damping response to sharp, high-impact events such as jump landings, whoops, square-edge bumps, and hard hits. The result is greater control and stability when the suspension is working hardest.

Additional features include tool-free rebound adjustment, spring preload adjustment, and a high-flow internal design engineered for consistent damping performance.

It's a serious suspension package built for riders who demand more than a conventional compact shock can deliver.

PURPOSE-BUILT FOR THE R38: PRICKLY TRIANGLE + LINKAGE KIT

The R38's robust, oversized architecture requires a dedicated mounting and linkage solution for the Surron LBX. That's why Sirris teamed up with Prickly Motorsports to develop a purpose-built triangle and linkage kit designed specifically for this combination.

The Prickly triangle and linkage kit is required to install the R38 shock. The stock LBX triangle and linkage are not compatible.

Designed, engineered, and machined in-house by Prickly Motorsports, the kit is precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and finished with hard anodizing for durability. Oversized 18 mm Schaeffler bearings, packed with waterproof synthetic Motorex grease during factory assembly, provide a robust foundation for demanding riding conditions.

The linkage geometry is engineered to work with the R38's shorter shock stroke, compensating through the motion ratio to maintain stock wheel travel and ride height. The complete setup is designed as a bolt-on solution, with no drilling, custom fabrication, or frame modifications required.

The R38 shock and Prickly linkage kit must be purchased together for installation. When ordered from Sirris at the same time, the linkage kit fits inside the shock box and ships as one package.

COMPLETE THE SETUP WITH THE SIRRIS F43 CMX 220 MM FORK

A high-performance rear shock deserves a front end built to match. The Sirris F43 CMX fork delivers the stiffness, damping control, and front-end confidence needed to complement the R38 rear shock.

Featuring an oversized 43 mm chassis and a race-built closed-cartridge CMX damper, the F43 is engineered for high-speed control, precise handling, and consistent performance under demanding conditions. Its 220 mm of travel provides 20 mm more travel than the stock LBX fork, while high-flow pistons, tunable compression and rebound valving, and a hydraulic bump stop help maintain control through aggressive terrain and hard landings.

Tool-free compression adjustment makes trackside tuning quick and straightforward, allowing riders to dial in their setup as conditions change.

Together, the F43 CMX fork, R38 2SC shock, and Prickly triangle and linkage kit create a complete suspension system engineered around the LBX platform. The combination is designed to maintain stock bike geometry while delivering the balanced, predictable feel that comes from a matched front and rear suspension setup.

BUILT TO RIDE HARDER

The Surron LBX continues to evolve, and suspension performance should evolve with it. With the R38 2SC and Prickly linkage system, Sirris brings full-size moto suspension technology, advanced adjustability, and serious durability to one of the most popular compact e-motos on the market.

Whether charging rough trails, pushing through whoops, or hitting jumps, the goal is the same: more control, more consistency, and greater confidence when the riding gets aggressive.

The Sirris R38 2SC. The Prickly linkage system. The F43 CMX fork. One complete suspension setup, built to push the LBX further.
