"Rinse and repeat" Desert Dominance
E-Moto Endurance Racing Hits Hard at the Biltwell 100. Altis Sigma and Arctic Leopard EX 800 take another win on Sirris suspension.
In a race that honors old-school moto grit with a new-school twist, the electric class didn’t just show up—it showed what’s next. With more classes opening up in 2025, the torch has officially been passed—and it's running on volts.
The future of off-road racing just tore through the past. In the blistering Mojave Desert foothills outside Ridgecrest, CA, the annual Biltwell 100 brought together vintage bikes, chopper legends, weekend warriors—and now, electric beasts.

This year, the no-frills, all-thrills desert race saw a major evolution with the launch of the Electric Class, including both an “Open” and “Endurance” division. The Open class went one hard lap; the Endurance class doubled down—two punishing laps across 100+ miles of dust, rocks, sand washes, and brutal whoops, with battery swaps allowed for those who dared.
Rising to the challenge, CRC Motorsports returned to the desert with a vengeance. Fresh off their Mint 400 experience, it was a "rinse and repeat" mission—executed flawlessly. Their riders, mounted on the Altis Sigma and Arctic Leopard EX 800, dominated the E-Moto Endurance class, showcasing the raw power of electric machines and the precision of custom-tuned Sirris F43 suspension with 230 mm of plush travel built to crush terrain.
Results? Electric podium sweep.
