NEW High-Performance Electric Dirt Bikes Revealed

The next generation of E-Moto coming 2025 with Sirris suspension. Cutting-edge electric power and raw exhilaration that redefines what’s possible on two wheels.

The 902 offers smooth control with 285 mm of front and rear suspension travel, while the 805 provides 245 mm of travel. Both models feature Bonnell’s custom-built system developed with Sirris, offering advanced compression, damping adjustments, hydraulic bottom-out control, and a lightweight design.

"At Bonnell, we don’t just build bikes—we build experiences. From the 775 e-MTB series to the upcoming 805 and 902 e-motos, every ride is engineered for seamless performance, precision tunability, and pure joy. We’re riders first, and every decision starts with one question: How does it ride?"

"In late 2025, we’re taking it even further with our next-generation e-moto lineup—the 902, a raw power machine built to push boundaries, and the 805, a lightweight, track-ready beast. Two electric dirt bikes, one mission—pure, unfiltered performance. Because silence has never made so much noise."

Bonnell 805

Max Power: 30kW / 40hp
Max Battery Capacity: 3.1 kWh
Wheels: 21" front / 18" rear
Suspension: Sirris F43 fork and R46 shock / 245 mm Travel

The 805 is Bonnell’s nimble, lightweight play bike. It delivers 30 kW of power and is powered by an EBMX controller. The EBMX X9000, currently one of the premium controllers on the market, is being upgraded to the X30 controller, which will be available soon.

The 805 features a 3.1 kWh swappable battery and has a 1350 mm (approximately 53 inches) wheelbase. In terms of suspension, Bonnell collaborated with Sirris to develop a custom-tuned setup. The Sirris suspension includes 43 mm stanchion forks with 245 mm of travel and the Sirris R46 rear shock, which also offers 245 mm of travel at the rear.

The bike comes with a full 21-inch front and 18-inch rear moto wheel set, providing a wide range of tire options. Bonnell opted for 100 mm wide tires on this smaller bike to maintain its nimble and playful handling.

Bonnell 902

Max Power: 46kW / 62hp
Max Battery Capacity: 6.6 kWh
Wheels: 21" front / 18" rear
Suspension: Sirris F43 fork and R46 shock / 285 mm Travel

The 902 is Bonnell founder Matt Wauters’ personal favorite bike.

“This has been an absolute engineering project for the whole team. We started from a clean slate and built a bike that fits into a new category in the market. It’s not quite a full-size bike, but it’s much larger and more capable than an Ultra Bee-sized bike.”

Every single part on this bike is custom-made. It features hydro-formed swing arm tubes, a complete custom chassis, a custom battery, a massive motor with a custom gearbox, and even a custom controller.

Bonnell worked with EBMX to develop a new controller for the 902 that is larger, more powerful, and sits above the X30 found on the 805. This bike is equipped with the X42 controller.

In terms of power, with the motor and controller combined, the 902 delivers 46 kW of peak power—over 60 horsepower.

The 902 also comes with a massive swappable battery and a 6.6 kWh power pack. Bonnell is developing lighter race batteries that still offer high power, and everything is easily swappable, so you can choose the battery that suits your needs.

The wheelbase is 1440 mm (56.5 inches). In the suspension department, Bonnell worked with Sirris for the last year and a half to develop custom suspension specifically for this bike.

The 902 features 285 mm of travel in the front with the Sirris F43 fork and 285 mm of travel in the rear with the Sirris R46 shock. This setup keeps the seat height low but provides ample travel to handle big jumps and rough terrain in the woods.

The wheelset is the same as the 805, with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, offering plenty of clearance in the swing arm for massive off-road gummy tires.
